In this workshop, you will be immersed in thought-provoking mini-lessons in history, science, math, English, and business. In science, for example, you will determine the concentration of an unknown acid using the smell of garlic powder as an olfactory indicator. In math, you will use hands-on manipulatives to work with numbers that are otherwise two-dimensional figures on paper. Creative teaching lessons like this provided unique opportunities for our students to experience innovative design with accessible components for all learners. After we experience multisensory learning through mini-lessons, we will brainstorm lesson plans that incorporate multiple senses in a variety of content areas.
