Keys to Student Success: Optimizing Course Accessibility

Keys to Student Success: Optimizing Course Accessibility Online

How accessible is your online course content? If you are still using scanned book pages or old PowerPoints (textbook supplements or self-created), it may be less accessible than you realize. You have invested time and effort in curating materials; a few additional steps can ensure that all learners are able to engage with those materials.

Participants will examine common course material accessibility issues, tools available to remediate them and microcredential opportunities for faculty who demonstrate commitment to optimizing the accessibility of their students’ course experience.

Note: Participation in this workshop counts toward the workshop requirement to earn the Digital Accessibility for Educators (DAE) Badge.
